The biggest thing we learned from the dentist appointment was that our boys need to be better brushers. What a surprise? You mean, those five second brushing jobs they do on their way out the door aren't sufficient? Or, the fact that they probably only average 8-10 brushes a week isn't cutting it? (I really don't have room to talk. My sisters and I never brushed our teeth as kids and our dad was an Oral Surgeon. Fortunately, for me, I got some good flouridated water during those formative years and good teeth genes I guess. After all the cavities fell out of my baby teeth things haven't been too bad.) Needless to say, Brad made a teeth brushing demonstration part of our family night activities. Here are some photos of the little patients:

Location, Location, Location...
Yesterday afternoon, Spencer and Sawyer had dentist appointments. The dentist office is at the end of our subdivision, so we decided to get a little exercise. The three boys rode their bikes, while Lucy and I followed behind with the stroller.

After the appointment, the boys wanted to ride home, while Lucy and I continued on to the bank- in the rain. On our way, I realized how close we are to so many conveniences. From our house, we can walk to the dentist, eye doctor, family doctor, fitness center, drugstore, bank, pizza and a few other little stores. Not that we walk to these place often, but it sure is nice to have the option. And while the weather is nice, we're going to be doing a lot more of it.

We just visited the Dentist on Monday. Funny how we are doing some of the very same things. Everyone did well - except me. Hmm, I think it's because I fall asleep after a busy day before I brush. :)
