Water fun

The last week of school, Lucy and I surprised the boys with a new slip and slide and inflatable pool. They were thrilled and kept saying "thank you" over and over again.

I love how a little bit of water will keep kids busy for hours.

Sawyer and Charlie came home with some fish from the creek and thought they'd keep them as pets in our pool. That lasted about ten minutes and then Sawyer took them back.

Our kids are dying to have a pet and we've made several trips to Petco/Petsmart these past several weeks as they look around and add up how much everything would cost.

I figured we could just count the fish from the creek as our "pet experience" for this summer. For some reason, that didn't pacify them.
