Easter egg hunt

Fortunately, we have some great friends who keep the fun in our lives. Saturday evening, they invited us to their home for an "egg drop contest" and an Easter egg hunt. The boys procrastinated making their egg drop containers until minutes before we had to be there, but came up with some good ideas.

Unfortunately, Sawyer had to leave to a soccer game before his was launched, but was happy to hear he won the contest. He created a parachute with plastic grocery bags, and so his egg basically floated down each time it was thrown.

I remember doing an egg drop as an elementary school project and my dad helping me with it. The day of the event, the teachers took our eggs to the roof of the school and dropped them off. Thanks to my dad's ingenuity, my egg didn't crack.

Thank you Salins for a fun filled night.
