Lake Powell Part II

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of boating trips to Lake Powell.

Life seemed so simple and carefree.

We always went with a certain family and had such a good time together.

Sometimes we'd sleep on the boat. Other times in a tent or motor home. We didn't really care. We were just happy to be there.

So, now some 20+ years later, my Dad decided it was time to go again.

And this time, we got to share it with our kids too.

There's something so therapeutic about basking in the sun, digging in the sand, playing in the water for hours on end, and sleeping under the stars.

Our kids particularly liked driving the waverunners, riding the tube, searching for seashells, burying each other in the sand, and building campfires each night.

I loved visiting with my sisters and their families and seeing what wonderful parents they are.

This might have to be our new tradition.

Thanks Dad, and everyone who helped make this a great trip!
