Charlie's Wart

Poor little Charlie is prone to plantars warts. They don't really hurt him, but they look disgusting. I remember being totally grossed out by a boy who sat by me in elementary school who had warts on his hands. He'd try to cut them off with scissors; I'd just cringe. But, now that Charlie has them, they don't seem as gross. The day before we moved, our podiatrist friend came over and took care of this big honker on Charlie's foot. He did a great job, because there's no sign of it now. Hopefully, this will be the last of them for awhile.

Blake has a wart on his elbow. We've been trying the "over the counter" remedy - it's not working. I think our next step is the dermo. I don't particularly like them either, but I guess they are pretty common in boys this age.

Energy? I wish I had more of it. My kids and husband spin circles around me in that department. I think we do activities out of necessity. It keeps everyone happier. And, I'm all for being outdoors, so the walks, hikes, swimming, etc. wear them out.

We did the once a month visits to the dermotologist and it took about three visits with his last one.

EEEEEK! Brings back memories. Remember when mom cut that one out of my foot at home? I still remember sitting on the bed and thinking "shouldn't this hurt more?"
