From pumpkin carving with the scouts, to trunk or treat, to actual trick or treating, we definitely had our fill of fun and sweets. Brad and I started a tradition a few years ago to help with behavior problems. Basically, the week or two before Halloween, the kids get tally marks for any negative behavior. On October 31st, we total the marks and that's how much candy they owe to us. We get first dibs on choosing the candy we want before they inhale it. The kids are actually really good about it. Sawyer usually gives us all of his chocolate in addition to anything else we want. I think Halloween is Brad's favorite holiday.
